MEET YOUR DANCE TEACHERS
"Behind every dancer who believes in themself, is a teacher who believed in them first"

I have been teaching and choreographing for
For over 15 years, I've been teaching and choreographing dance, driven not by being the "best" or the most "technical," but by a genuine passion for movement. This passion led me to create Anyone Can Dance because I believe dance should be for everyone.
My approach is all about making dance inclusive and approachable. I've developed a knack for breaking down dance into simple, understandable steps, perfect for newcomers or anyone feeling a bit intimidated. My focus isn't on making you the "best," but on helping you feel confident and at ease.
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me performing on stage!
Favorite Credits include; Fame The Musical (Nat'l Tour), A Bronx Tale, On Your Feet, Bodyguard the Musical, West Side Story, Evita, Something Rotten and In The Heights.

I have been performing since I was 6 years old when I started my career on Star Search! Broadway Credits include 42nd Street and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Some favorite theaters across the country include The Muny, Goodspeed Opera House, North Carolina Theatre, The Engemen Theater, and right here in New York, City Center Encores! I have been on the creative side of many productions most recently Anything Goes, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and up next The Little Mermaid. I continue to teach various classes across the globe carrying on my family’s teaching legacy. I recently got married to my best friend and most wonderful partner. I am so excited to join this team as we help couples succeed on their special day with joy and confidence.
Laura Pierpont
Hello! I’m Laura and I have been dancing since I was two years old. After graduating college, I moved right to NYC to pursue my dreams of performance! Some of my favorite credits include; Chicago (Annie - VMT), Bridges of Madison County (Featured ensemble - ATG), Billy Elliott (Assistant Choreographer - Ogunquit Playhouse), and performing with the National and International Tour, Shanghai Premiere Company, and the 2022 Japan Tour of A Chorus Line (Bebe) under the direction of Broadway legend, Baayork Lee. I am now engaged to a fellow performer (he is an incredible tap dancer!) and we are planning our October 2024 wedding. Helping couples with their weddings has always been a dream and what could be better than a first dance!? I am so fortunate to help couples feel confident and excited about this special moment on their wedding day.
